“I Can Only Imagine” – – do ya’ll know this song?  It’s from the band Mercy Me.  It tells of the different ways we might act when we meet Jesus face to face in Heaven.  I just heard it on the radio and while singing along it hit me…..we don’t know what it will be like.  We can only imagine – fantasize about our lives after death.   I do have a deep faith that this Earth is only the beginning and that our real life begins once this one is over.  Many years ago I had a friendly debate with an atheist… she ended our banter with one question.  “What if you’re right?”  I answered her with “If you are right then I have lived my life the best I can and I have nothing to lose, if I’m right then you have everything to lose.”  Recently, I watched an interview with a famous preacher and he was asked “Do you believe there are many paths to God?”

 I loved his answer. “I believe Jesus is the only path to God, but I believe there are many paths to Jesus.”
