 I planted beautiful red Tulips in the yard of my little rent house and they were so beautiful for the short time they lived.  It was so exciting seeing them pop through the soil and then form leaves and grow into fantastic bursts of red happiness !!!!!!  I love Tulips. They are my favorite so February is a great month for me !!  In Texas you must plant them in late November or early December and hope it gets cold enough for them.  I have been known to put a bag of ice on my bulbs during winter to be sure they get the cold they need.  Life is like this, you have to plant, tend, hope and wait.   I only have a picture of Daisies but boy this is a great picture!!!
