“If we could see where our enemy weeps they would no longer be our enemy.”

Wow, how does that hit you?  I heard this on the local Christian radio station while driving last Saturday. BOOM. This statement should make your heart bleed.  Every person that bites us or bites at us is dealing with something.

We’re all dealing with something, sometimes we’re dealing with everything.

At bedtime Saturday I prayed for the Lord to show me the areas where my “enemies” were weeping.  In all seriousness I had dreams that revealed some things that deeply convicted me.  How much pain have I caused others by having to be right? How many opportunities have passed me by because I was so selfishly licking some wound of my own?  Anybody out there willing to ask yourself these questions?

If we were all SAFE enough to share our deepest pain the devil would no longer have the authority to beat the hell into us every chance he gets.  He wants most of all to convince you that you are alone, unloved, or unlovable.

You are loved.  Maybe you just can’t feel it right now. If you’re inside a room you probably can’t feel the sunlight right now – does that mean there’s no sun?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself. – Jesus said this was the 2nd most important commandment. To be able to do this you MUST love yourself first.  You were created by a loving God, all He wants is to have a relationship with you.  You don’t have to be perfect, just willing.

Willing to ask forgiveness, then give honor and respect.  Willing to accept forgiveness and eternal life.

Wherever you weep – let God in there !  Whenever you get bit by someone – let God in there, let Him show you where they weep and then let God in there too.
