Thinking Inside the Box

God is amazing, when you begin a journey with a single step He is right there with you. One step of faith and instantly God is cheering you on.

“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

Notice it’s not a search light or a flash light – it is a lamp, shining on your feet and the path in front of you. Read God’s Word, take it one step at a time and stay on the path if you hope to see.

I went to church and heard a guest speaker, one of the things she brought up is that we can be stuck inside of a box.

Wow, this is EXACTLY what I have been feeling lately.

I said a prayer and made a decision…. I’m going to let God open that box. I’m not going to beat and bang around inside of it,  I am going to pray.  I’m going ask Him to open it and direct me in the way that I should go.

My creativity comes from Him so I need Him to direct my path and set my course. I’m so busy with work and life that sometimes that is all that I do. Just like packing all my belongings recently to move, this is what I have done with my creativity – packed it away and put it on a shelf.

So, ladies I hope you will join me in this exciting prayer…..

“Lord, I pray in Jesus’ Name for You to open the box that I have packed myself into. Please release me from confinement and refresh my creativity. Speak life into my dry bones and deliver me from laziness. Have Your way in my life Lord. Amen”.
