The Wise Man

Do you remember the church song from our childhood….

The wise man built his house upon the rock (repeat 3 times)

and the rain came tumbling down

The rains came down and the flood came up

(repeat 3 times)

but the house on the rock stood firm.

The foolish man built his house upon the sand (repeat 3 times)

and the rain came tumbling down

The rains came down and the flood came up (repeat 3 times)

and the house on the sand went  **SPLAT**

I do not remember which verse comes first, the wise man or the foolish man but this song was running through my mind the other day and it would not stop.

After awhile of driving I  said a prayer…”Lord, why am I singing this song?”

I heard a thought in my head answer back

“This is exactly what has happened in your past.  

SPLAT ! 

So, now just re-build your life on the rock.”

What a REVELATION !  After the storm – just “re-build”.

So, ladies – take this scripture to heart……….

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  Romans 8:1
