Question From a Stop Light

True story – so, I’m at what has to be the longest light in Texas. I’m in the front of my lane, the left turning lane – center stage you might say.
I’ve got K-Love Radio blasting on my old blown out speakers – I know all the words and no one is in the car with me, so naturally I’m singing myself silly. The song ends… the light is still red… and half a dozen people are watching me – I turn red!
If you don’t know, there is an unwritten rule in Texas that says,
“Hat falls off in the rodeo there’s only two things to do – pick it up or keep ridding.”
So, as the next song came on the radio, I rolled my windows down and praised Him some more!! HAHAHAHA!
I’m not bragging, but I want to say that this is the most politely I’ve ever waited on a red light. Just sayin’!
Made me think – is praise the key to waiting nicely? I’m mean, the light was only two songs long from this perspective?
Either way – It’s been a while since I’ve done something silly like this in front of Pappa, I mean I do silly things all the time, but not praising Him with everyone watching silly.
It was fun and strangely enough I’m looking forward to the next red light.

The above came to me as an email from a close friend. She has given me permission to share it with you. What caught my attention was the question….
Is Praise the key to waiting nicely?
This question is exactly what I posted Wed 7/24 “The Quiet Season”. The answer is YES – at least I believe it is Yes.
Praising IS the key – it is the key that will

PS – in case you are wondering… my friend calls God “Pappa”.
