Project JOY Team

We started with 13 on the sign up sheet, 7 got the first round of vaccinations, 6 got tickets, 3 are going.

Even at the time of this posting the photo is one person too many. Remember the contractor that I was so very happy about?  He is not able to go. I will miss his energy and his love for the Lord.  It is sad that he cannot go………

And then there were 3.

No chicken coops. Money raised will go for supplies in Maputo for Ernesto to have for when the Lord sends him a contractor.  Perhaps this trip is not about chickens, perhaps it is about worship.  Worship was the initial request Ernesto made to Lorraine to come.

  “Come and teach us to Worship the Lord sister”.

Perhaps we got distracted but  I must admit that it shakes my faith a little for the number to get so low and the “to do” list to be so open.  Open, that is a good word – my faith meter is coming up a little.

I hope and I pray that Dec 5th I leave on a big jet airplane to a great adventure into the wild unknown !!!!

Just us 3 and the Holy Spirit to go and give HOPE to Ernesto, his wife and children, 50 children living  at the center and over 100 more children who come each day, and also the women and mothers of the village.  HOPE!  Maybe teach them to make soap, who knows but above all – take them encouragement and sprinkle it around them like Holy Ghost Dust to let them know we have been praying for them and working to come to them since March.

In the name of Jesus, Lord let our hearts so full that we overflow with
