Praising God in the Hallway

I posted a blog entitled “YES” on November 26th, to remind us (me) that sometimes NO is an answer to prayer and we should be just as thankful.

While this is true it is very hard to let go of things hoped for.  Sometimes we want something so bad that we spiral all the way into believing that it is also what God wants for us.

I received a NO today, I actually got the NO back in December but was hoping that my antenna reception was off and that God was going to surprise me with a great big YES somehow, someway.

No is the hardest word to hear I think.  Especially for someone with a driven personality. 

Well, the no is a no.  The house I was praying for has a sold sign in front of it today.

How ironic is it that I just posted about a sold sign last week?

It was a little too much for my budget anyway and I am glad for the new owners because it is a super house.

So, laying low, re-grouping.

A “no” today is so much better than an “I told you so” tomorrow !
