My Last Shot

Today’s post is actually a comment from a reader on the blog “Blind Ambition”.  Her comment came through my personal email and I share it with her permission.

“I tried shooting for the stars, but I missed.  So, I shot for something bigger, the moon, but again I missed.  So, with my last arrow I set my sites on God for I can think of nothing bigger than He.  This time I tied a note to my arrow.

It says, Dear God, You are my last shot.”  


Just one of the many thoughts that popped in my head while reflecting on your blog.

My Last Shot is where my blind ambition has let me.


“If you don’t know where you’re going, it doesn’t matter what road you take.”  Cheshire Cat.

I’m not good at waiting, but there are two things that I have learned to accept.

1)  Waiting is not the same as doing nothing and going nowhere.

2)  Waiting on God is Relenting with Purpose.


That’s all I got.  Well, not really “all” I got, but all I can share.

I am not ready for your step one (blogging the battle).
