Mozambique

Today is departure day.

Many of you remember this poster story from a previous blog, I’ll give a recap for those of you who haven’t heard.  I bought the above poster in August of 2011 after I had what I believe was a vision of myself on a beach crying – Jesus came up to me and held me while I cried.  The picture in my mind was so emotional for me that I ordered posters to cover my bedroom walls to remind me that He was with me.

I began to enroll in college and had everything ready to go except my signature and comittment for the spring semester to begin in January 2012, I wanted to go back to college to be a missionary.  Well, the financial aid was 80% loans and I did not think God wanted me to go into debt to become a missionary.  So I said no and told the Lord I would just wait on Him to lead me.

It is then that I saw the video announcements at the church I attend saying there was a mission trip planned for Mozambique.  I said yes in my heart and must admit that I had no idea where Mozambique was.  When I googled it the above image came up on screen.

It is the exact duplicate of the poster hanging over my bed!!

But the word “Mozambique” is written across the top.  I took it as MY sign. Then, and only then did I see by another image that it is in Africa !!!

That was many months ago.  I’ve actually had friends come to the house to see the poster, it is a pretty powerful sign.  Now here we are, I am leaving on my first mission trip. Remember when I posted

“The more I try to get ready the more I realize I will never be ready?”

I’m still not ready. But faith without deeds is dead so here I go. Remember also, when I blogged about the abused horse books and how I believe there is someone specific for me to touch… we will see if this comes to pass.

Pray for me please and check the other blog for reports. If I can write to you I will.
