Master Stacker

Recently someone mentioned they had not seen a post from me for a long time.  Selfishly I’ve been spending my energy on projects and new opportunities that I’ve wanted to sink my teeth into for a long time.

If you remember… I blogged that

2014 is “The Year of Chasing Dreams”

  Which is exactly what I’m doing.

But this might be worth sharing.

I thought I had finished the dishes only to find a bowl with my name on it.  After washing it I very carefully balanced it on top of the large pile in the drainer then I laughed and said out loud to Mom….

” I am a ‘Master Stacker’  I’ll do anything to keep from drying by hand and putting away !”

Well…… this is a common problem and not just with dishes, we all have situations in our lives where we just keep patching or piddling to keep from having to clear it off the roster completely.

Can I get an AMEN??

Papers to file, books to read, calls to make……

And for those of you wondering why I didn’t use the dishwasher, there’s not one – dishwashers are the ultimate master stacker appliance.

Load,  then walk away and deal with those dishes whenever you want.
