Keep Your Eyes Open

I recently had an encounter with another human that I was not prepared for.  I had left a gate open and much pain was received in the conversation because I had let my guard down.  No need to spill it all here – I learned my lesson.

I felt like Brad Pitt in the movie “Snatch”

(if you have not seen it, I do not recommend it.  British, graphic language and very dark humor).

But this knock out shot of Mr. Pitt is exactly how I felt. I never saw it coming.

I’d had forgotten to KEEP MY EYES OPEN !!

Which brings me to this song.  I play it when I get down and discouraged.  I envision God telling me to
