It’s All About the Hair !

This picture is recent, a new braid that my daughter mastered. She can do this all by herself (I’m lucky if mine gets washed)!  She texted this photo to me, her patient husband the photographer, I’m sure. I apologized to her a while back about not spending more time with her hair while she was growing up.  She has been a hair fanatic since she was itty bitty, always wanting me to fix hers or her fix mine.  I was usually too busy or too tired. When her Nana (my mom) was around she was the hair stylist and it was always a French Braid.

Then, to my surprise I came across this photo and it was God’s way of telling me that I did fix her hair (just maybe not as often as I’d like). This is my all time favorite photo of her.  You can see on her face how thrilled she was, she was already matching her own clothes as this age and doing a good job. Hot rollers for elementary – who else but this girl?
