Happy Valentine’s Day

It’s a cold morning where I am but what this day represents is enough to warm my heart. I hope it is the same for you where you are.

Today is the day set aside for love.  So, I’m at work, going to clock in LATE just so that I can send you all a little “I Love You”.

For any of you who are expecting your man to do something fabulous today – remember that men think differently than women and he might not even realize today is the day…… forgive him.

For any of you who have a rift with a relative or close friend who has caused you pain. Think long and hard about how much pain you have caused without meaning to.  We give and we receive…… forgive them.

For any of US who hold ourselves accountable much harder than anyone around us, looking over our shoulder at yesterday’s failures.  Realize that it is today(not yesterday)  and every day is a fresh start……forgive yourself.

Today is the day for love.  Love yourself enough to change, let go, start over, begin anew, breathe………… LIVE.

I heard Pastor Chuck Swindoll this morning on the radio saying that Jesus came here to give life more abundantly….. he said Jesus did not judge people that He – “Poked airholes in the boxes they lived in”

This is absolutely perfect – – let’s be that for all of those around us.  To give them air to breathe and not suffocate.  Let us begin today, the day of love.
