Happy Monday

Can you believe March is almost over?  Spring is in the air.  I love to hear the birds singing.  I love to sing.  My mom thinks it’s strange that I love to write but when it comes to songs I simply sing what others have created.   Telling a story or conveying emotion by rhyme and rhythm in under 3 minutes with a chorus repeating – seems like pressure to me.  I talk to0 much to narrow a creation into those boundaries.  However, I have a friend that can pen a seriously savvy song – sometimes cute, sometimes deep but always good.  Always.

She has one titled, “Mary’s Little Lamb”, it is a message that the baby Jesus came to us to show that “there is more to this life than this” – truly powerful.  She’s not only speaking of life after death she is speaking about having life during life.  We each have a numbered amount of days to live here – we can simply exist or we can live.  Jesus came so that we could truly live, live, live.
