Happy Monday

Howdy.  Hope your weekend was great. I traveled to Northeast Texas to visit my best friend of 31 years who was in the hospital.  She was home by the time I got there and was doing much better by the time I left.  We spent about 24 hours together before I drove back.  I’m sure I will be blogging about this trip for days.  Traveling, facing fear, selfishness, deep love, getting lost in Austin, money, dreams, envy all within a 2 day timespan.  I’ve made it back to work on time and actually feel refreshed – getting out of my selfishness and doing something for someone else is exactly what I needed (still selfish in the end).

Just me being there lifted her spirits and I had not realized how long it has been, how many holidays I’ve missed (birthdays mostly), how she’s been my friend and I’ve been the one that sometimes returns her calls.

Relationship – It’s all about relationship. Giving & receiving.  

So ladies, love the one in front of you, accept their love in return and most of all let Jesus love you too.
