“From Your Mouth to God’s Ears”

I recently told someone having a rough time that I would pray for them to have rest when they laid down to sleep.  I pray this a lot for people – rest is a very important detail of life.  If it is missing a lot of rhythms are off balance.  Not to mention you are exhausted.

Well, when I told her that I what my prayer for her was she replied

“From your mouth to God’s Ears”

I’ve heard this saying before but today I was reminded that when we pray that is EXACTLY what happens.  So when we pray we should hope and believe that our prayers will be answered.

Because, in fact, a prayer goes straight…….from our mouth to God’s ears.
