Every Day is Yesterday

Inspiration can hit anytime, this one came while I was driving.    This past weekend my mother and I were on a day trip.  We were solving all the world’s problems and I was taking mental notes for the best selling book I have been typing in my head for decades!!  The conversation came to how God works miracles and changes lives for those who will allow Him to.  But for some it will not happen for they are stuck, they do not seek freedom so when it is offered they are blind to it’s deliverance because….

“For Some, Every Day is Yesterday”

If you have someone in your life who this is true for, please pray for them.  It is not a choice they make it is a blindness that has overtaken them and only God can open their eyes and lead them into the Light of Jesus for them to break free from the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness.

I was in this prison for many years.  It was only Jesus that could set me free and then I had to take the keys and unlock the prison cells and set free the captives I had in my heart  – on my knees calling out forgiveness for every person on my “list”. Some locks were harder than others and some were rusted so tight Jesus had to supernaturally spray WD-40 and then tell me to “try it again”.

I cannot live today if my heart is still living in yesterday.

You can’t live without your heart. You can breathe on a life support machine called “existence” but that is not living.

I pray that this blog is not the truth for ANY of you – but please hear me if it is.

Today is the day – set the prisoners free and the astonishing truth will overwhelm you that in fact it was you that was in prison.
