Encouragement

I received a reply to the “Fear” blog via email and she spoke of how we must invest into the lives of children to build up their faith and show them the way to the One True God.  She posted her reply, Friday.  Before I read it I had posted Saturday’s blog about future generations.  So, then Sunday I see these emails from her and how she and I wrote about future generations at the same time. It was wonderful.  It was encouragement

Encouragement is a powerful weapon in the war on darkness.

Sometimes I feel like a bottomless pit, loving the pats on the back and relying on feedback to be my encouragment.  But one negative comment can put me in a corner for far too long – encouragement’s counterfeit is also a powerful weapon.  So, hiding, in my corner I heard God’s voice through my TV disquised as a contestant on the cooking show  “Restaurant Express”……… to the very aggressive host she said…

“It is not your responsiblity to believe in me.  It is my responsiblity to believe in me.”

There He was, God, right in my living room telling me to believe in myself.

Ladies, the devil will train you to tell yourself lies and then once you have suffiently learned his way of thinking he can move on to the next student.  You will continue to speak those lies to yourself (and anyone else) when he’s no where around – you are doing his job for him.    And he can begin training you in childhood.

You HAVE to re-train your brain to hear God’s voice if you’ve been living in a cave for many years.  For you and for your children.  It is never too late to learn.  And if you’ve been entrenched in defeated thinking – it will take much prayer and reading of God’s word to learn a new way.

I say “reading of God’s word” for a reason, my friend is right about “the One True God”.

Don’t be fooled by “sprituality”, it is not God.  God created man to have fellowship with Him – relationship.  Not just positive thinking or elightenment, but transformation.

Another close friend recently said the PERFECT quote about sprituality without God….

“New age is so close, the only thing it is lacking is Jesus Christ, but without Jesus there is no passion.  It is passion that makes the difference.” L.H.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 KJV

The above scripture is the controversy that marks the difference between, Jewish Faith, Christian Faith, Muslim Faith, New Age, and Oprah.  As Christians we believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Jesus is the Son of God sent to Earth.  It was the “Sinless, blood of Jesus, sacraficed for us on the cross and then resurrected from the dead to conquer death, hell and the grave.  This is a powerful and contreversial topic, it has caused MUCH debate and bloodshed for past and present generations.

We believe you get to Heaven, not by what you do, but by who you know.  So make sure you RSVP to the right invitation.

In the words of Jars of Clay, in their song, “Liquid”.

“He didn’t die for nothin”
