Distraction

We leave for Africa in 20 days !  I’m so distracted I have not been able to blog. I work and then work on Africa after work. I took a leave of absence from the women’s class until January to concentrate and every church service or Bible study I attend somehow the teaching translates to Africa for me and so I don’t have much to post here. But I’ll take a lunch hour minute to chat a little….

Thank you to all of you who have read my blog – my “HOPE” is to blog while in Mozambique.  Ernesto says we will have internet access and a nice place to stay – we were all willing to sleep on the ground to go but alas we don’t have to.

I have asked many of you for pictures to take to the children there and leave with them – if you have not received that request yet please email me at soapco@yahoo.com and I will get an address to you (I cannot accept any electronically as I am without a printer.

I will share one thing with you today – I recently received this from the teacher of the women’s class.  She saw the movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and said a line from the movie is life changing –

“We accept the love we think we deserve.”

Now that is a mouthful to chew on until I can blog deeper. Ladies, be careful what you settle for it just might be YOU that’s locked the door on the basement.
