Dec. 9th

Today is Sunday Ernesto told us last night that we should just rest today. I woke up around 7 am did a little bit, journaled and went back to sleep. Lorraine woke me up at 5pm to come eat. I cannot believe how long I slept, they slept till 2. We are 8 hours ahead of Texas here so the adjustment is difficult. 5 pm here is 9 am your time so technically I was awake right on time.

While we were eating Ernesto and a young man under his training, Joshua, came to check on us. It was beautiful to hear the testimony of how he came to start the community center and how he refused a full time pastor position to stay on track with what God has purposed for him. He has battled much in the spirit to be who he is and stay true to his beliefs, vision and calling.

Today was a good day of rest. Tomorrow we begin classes at the center.
