Completely

I took a trip down memory lane this past weekend.  I drove around my old stomping grounds, visited the church parking lot where I met Jesus and I said goodbye to the past.  It felt so good that I traveled around in the dark to other places on the memory map and I said goodbye there too.

It’s hard to let go.  It’s hard to come clean.

But it was easier to say goodbye than it is to blog about saying goodbye. 

Sometimes the words typed out here come from true tears and shed blood.  Saying a goodbye worth 30 years is hard to do.

But then, during my trip the Lord gave me a new song on KLOVE – I am truly thankful when this happens, when I hear a song I’ve never heard at a time when I need a fresh touch.
