As I drove passed the sold sign on my morning commute I said with a laugh

“Well, I was wrong about that one.”

The house is  large, sits on the bank of the Guadalupe River and had intense remodeling to the property a few years back.  A very large custom RV garage (with three bays)was built in the front of the property, obstructing the view of the house, and an iron fence was erected all the way around making it look like a fortress.  Then, the front of the house was given a face lift by placing extremely large plate glass windows (the size of  theater movie screens) on the first and second floor.  Back then I remember thinking that they better really like the modifications because no one would want to pay for all of the custom changes.   The price of the custom garage alone would probably make most bank accounts weep.

Alas, last year the for sale sign went up and I thought……..”Nope, not gonna happen.”

It’s funny in life, we make little judgments every day based upon what WE  would do or wouldn’t do.

I’m glad I was wrong on this one.  It will make someone a beautiful home or investment.

And it’s a good reminder to me that I’m not always right with my little observations.
